Turn your phone sideways for bigger controls.

Off. Sound starts when you switch it on.

Mouse and touch

  • Drag a knob up or down, or use the scroll wheel over it.
  • Click or touch buttons and keys. Several fingers at once work on a touch screen.
  • Shift-click (or right-click) a button or key to hold it down, click again to let go: useful for MUTE + a track.

Keyboard

  • White keys 1–8: Q–I, 9–16: A–K. Black keys 1–11: 1–0, - (the last is MUTE).
  • Space PLAY, Enter REC, Shift SEL (held), Esc HOME, Z / X OCT− / OCT+.
  • ↑ ↓ turn SELECT (the master filter).

TRIBE in one minute

  • Black keys 1–10 pick a track; hold key 11 and tap a track to mute it.
  • White keys are the steps (SEQ) or the clips (HOME). A new step is edited with KNOBS 1–4 at once.
  • FX, ENV, LFO, EDIT show the track's parameters: dim = the engine has some, press again for the next page.
  • It is the firmware, not a recording, at the FM-1's 44.1 kHz.
